North of Tokyo, the city ended and the wilderness began.



I did rest on this “bench”, and it was a great place to pause on the hike! I stayed longer than a minute, though.

I don’t really have a problem with people not speaking or writing perfect or even particularly good English, but this sign was professionally made.
I will do a couple of posts later on about a whole lot of the various manhole covers I’ve come across. But today is not that day.

Also, the guy on the cover sure looks like a zombie.

The featured image is a panorama shot of Tokyo taken on Odaiba during sunset. The rainbow bridge hasn’t been lit, and the fountain show hasn’t started.
